About me!
I am a succulent fanatic. I have been fascinated by them for as long as I have been gardening. I love their colors, textures and patterns. I try to paint with succulents, moving them around in my garden constantly trying to find the best place for each plant. Amazingly my plants don't seem to mind this rough treatment. I have now just finished my Botany degree and I am trying to make a go of a business with succulents. Mostly I am trying to fill a gap in the selection of succulents in our area, which is abysmal.

What are some questions that you would like answered? Are you afraid to water your plants? Are aphids taking over your garden world? Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have, or post them here. I can also be found at Succulent Bliss on Facebook.
This is all I have for right now, more later. I promise! For now how about some pretty pictures?
This is a photo of rain on my Graptoveria.
This is my succulent chair I made from a broken old garden chair.
Here are two lovely flowers for you to enjoy. The one on the left is Echeveria secunda. I love this particular plant for its diminutive size and drop dead gorgeous flowers. I just recently figured out what it was through a succulent fanatic group on facebook. The plant on the right is Echeveria elegans, it is a cheerfully prolific plant that produces tons of offsets and has incredible flowers. It goes by the common name Mexican snowball.
A note about common names. Where ever possible I will be using the scientific names to identify plants. The scientific name is internationally recognized and is vital for finding information on the internet or in a book. When I find cute or amusing common names, or names that are widely known I will include them.
I hope you all have a wonderfully succulent day!
~Larissa
